Created in collaboration with Disney Interactive and Lucasfilm
EA Capital Games’ executive producer, John Salera, says in a news article on the EA website that it was with the help of the staff of Disney Interactive and Lucasfilm that it became possible to provide the experience of the entire Star Wars franchisee on a mobile device. As of now, it seems that the game will be available on the Google Play store on Android devices as well as the App Store on iOS devices sometime during the later half of 2015.
Card game to deliver the completer Star Wars experience
John Salera says that their aim for the game was to enable players to have fun by collecting star fighters and other characters and playing with their characters in a creative way. The card game will allow people to participate in battles by using the characters that they have collected as well as ships from the world of Star Wars. Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes will include all aspects of the star wars franchisee: from the original trilogy to Star Wars Rebels to the Clone Wars, prequels and more.
